Situated on the eighteenth and nineteenth floors of a landmark Rosario Candela building in Greenwich Village, this project combines two apartments with a new central stair and double-height walnut-paneled volume.
On the lower level, we combined several small rooms to create a fifty-foot long open plan salon for lounging and entertaining with expansive views to the north and a grand master suite to the south. A modern palette of walnut, white lacquer, patinated bronze, and oxblood leather repeats throughout. Casual furnishings reflect the tastes and needs of the young owners and their two sons.
