Lot House 2

Miami, FL

Designed for a narrow lot in Miami, this single family residence is a rectangular two-story bar-building oriented toward an enclosed garden and swimming pool. The architecture is driven by the materials that make up the two building skins: the primary poured concrete shell and a secondary façade of fiberglass reinforced concrete panels and aluminum windows and doors.

Rendered view of the entry courtyard of the house, illustrating a waterlilies tank. The right side of the image shows a series of white concrete volumes perforated by red framed windows and doors, creating the entrance area.
Rendered view of the back facade of the house towards the pool. The facade is articulated by a series of concrete volumes perforated by windows and a suspended loggia on the upper right portion of the facade.
Rendered section of the back facade of the building towards the pool. The exterior skin of the building is set in front of the elevation and is designed in grey concrete. The back facades and terraces are finished in white panels. A wide green terrace separates the volumes. The openings frames are in painted red metal.
